I just love... being optimistic!

Being only 19 years old, I have not have lived a whole lot of life, but from what I have lived, I've learned several things. One of the biggest things I've learned is that there are a lot of people you'll run into that are just not fun to be around. Some people are just so depressing and no matter how hard you try to have fun with them, you just can't. That's something you can't change about people. You can certainly try, but you can't force someone to be a certain way. To have a positive aura about life, you need to surround yourself with people who see the glass as half full, not half empty. Better yet, you should be the person who is full of optimism.

Become a person that people want to be around. In everything you do, choose happiness even if it's hard to find something positive in a situation, find it. After doing that for awhile, it will come natural that you see the positive in everything. When something frustrating happens, take a breath and just force a smile on your face and eventually it'll become real. If you do your best to have a positive attitude about everything, people are going to genuinely want to be around you because your mood will either make them feel better or it will rub off off on them.

I have found that this actually works. When something upsetting happens in my life, I just force a smile on my face. Mostly it's because I don't want to get a million "What's wrooonnnggg?"'s from people who don't really care and just want to get in the middle of my business, but it's also for me. Forcing myself to smile and be happy eventually turns into myself being happy. I am naturally a very cheery and positive person and I can guarantee that if you ever see me, I'll have a big old smile on my face, but you can't be happy all the time. Life is full of speed bumps and problems that will cause you to be down for a little bit. However, if you force yourself to smile and find an activity to take your mind away from what's causing you to be upset, your happiness will always come back, I promise.

Always being positive just makes every day easier. It makes it easier to do little tasks when you are happy rather than when you are mad, upset or frustrated. It really does pays off to try to be happy. What is the point of staying mad at something if it's something that you can't control? There isn't a point so just take a breath and realize that in the end it's all going to be okay and if it's not okay, it's not the end. :) You just need to keep pushing through with a smile on your face and everything will work out.

Just remember to always be positive and to not let little things get you down. When you are constantly positive, other positive people will want to be around you and it'll just be one huge party of optimism. And those my friends, are the best types of parties. :)
